Story

DalmascanRaiko was born in Nagxia, but she has little to no recollection of it. She was raised by her Vieran adoptive father in the Royal City of Rabanastre. As a small girl, she carefully navigated the streets with groups of delinquent children. She was easily identified, however, as Raen are uncommon but not unheard of in Dalmasca.

Musical CareerRaiko grew up with a love for poetry and song. She later became a renown singer across Dalmasca, performing in various venues.
She has not sung since the destruction of Rabanastre.

Resistance Spy - IVth Legion InfiltratorRaiko, like many children of Dalmasca, was inducted into Garlean Academia under the IVth Legion's rule. While the Garleans may have taught her how to read and write, she had a natural charm that allowed her to excel in her studies and secure her a spot among the IVth Legion as a public official. Her Garlean name was Valentina Dus Carina.She secretly worked as a spy for the Resistance, relaying and manipulating information in their favor. However, she was never able to predict Rabanastre's fate.
